Default why did I update.....ever!

Please Login to Remove!

I updated my BB some time ago. Prior to the update seperate icons would appear to notify me of an SMS or an e-mail. After the update I get one icon for either type of message which can be very annoying when prioritising but I lived with it.

I have now updated again and the BB no longer reconciles with Windows Mail. Prior to the update it did, now it doesn't. This means that my texts are getting lost in my e-mails so I have had to use the shortcut key to take me straight to texts but I had allocated that differently before.

Anyone know how I can reinstate my seperate icons and get it to reconcile so that when I delete on Windows Mail and vice versa the lists of messages are the same?

NB: I have seen on other discussions that the 8900 cannot reconcile but it most definitely did before so whats changed?

If it ain't broken, it doesn't need to be fixed.

Maybe revert to the OS that came with the device - on the CD?

you can always downgrade.

also, push your service books again and make sure that you havent hidden any of your icons - the individual mailboxes should show up then.

as for reconciliation, make sure you've set up your email accounts correctly and resend your service books.
