Default BlackBerry App World (Error ID: 11000)

Please Login to Remove!

Hey, I try to purchase PAC-MAN from app world but I was shown that error (error ID:11000). Ive downloaded free apps and its downloaded and installed fine. Ive bought two others apps and also got the same error however after doing a battery pull it worked. But today, ive done the same thing...couple of times for PAC-MAN but it doesnt seem to do the job. Ive tried purchasing other apps but same error. Its the error when i try to purchase. Ive tried both payment options...via my paypal account and credit card. Still ERROR! Someone help please. Thanks.

Are you still having trouble?

My thought is it is probably not you, and to wait and try later.

Also, try a hard reset. With the power on, remove the battery for at least 30 seconds. Then try app world again.

I wish I had an answer. If your app world is linked with paypal, checking things on the paypal side is the only thing I can think of. Also, as a hard reset fixed it before, it would be worth doing it again, but wait two or three minutes this time.

I have the same problem with my credit card and paypal. What makes me really mad is that I got like 9 charges from my credit card and I have no app, just this message. I tried to contact the vendor 2 times in the past 3 weeks and I still have no response! what can I do? I want my money back!

What I've read elsewhere on the forum is that the carriers support app world just as they are the first support contact for the device, etc. Call your service providers customer support and see.

First, the BlackBerry app world is fairly poor in its integration. Its PayPal support is anything but. Purchase your downloads with a direct credit card (because hey, you can trust RIM with your credit card).

I've had nothing but problems since I started purchasing through PayPal from my BB. But thats what you get for buying RIM hardware and expecting a positive experience :P

Raayan so far as I know there is not anything you can do if app world is not supported but purchase from another source. If there is something you want and can't find another source, post the name of the app and see if anyone can advise.
