Question Ringtone problem with new OS

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone

New to these forums and I hope you guys can help me a little better than those people over on the BlackBerry Community Support website.

I just attempted to post the link to my original thread on the Community Support Website... and I cannot do it with 'under 10 posts'....

Briefly: I upgraded my OS to the new software. Everything is working great except my preloaded ringtones will not work. They are still located on the phone and play fine in the media player. I have tried several different methods of assigning the ringtones and nothing works. When I hit 'try it' everything works fine (LED. Vibrate) except the ringtone audio.

Some responses would be greatly appreciated!!

I had the same problem and had to call T-Mobile. Turns out I needed a new service book and then a battery pull and had to reset the ringtones. Hope this helps you too.
