Dear New User; many (the vast majority) of people who use this board are in North America. You posted your question at 3:16am.

Is it really so difficult to search or even look at the top of the 8900 Discussion Forum?

is there any difference or just number change ..

Just a number change.. RIM thinks that numbers get boring if they stay the same. JK

RIM provides no details on version changes.

I upgraded to 5.0 and my 8900 froze. After a session with RIM technical, I was told that I should have upgraded desktop manager and software by going into their website
