Unhappy BB Desktop Manager 6 / 8900

Please Login to Remove!

Have an issue. Yesterday, after creating a BB theme, I decided I wanted to test if further than using the simulator. So I began loading it through desktop manager. FYI I had already upgraded my BB to 5.0.822. Anyway, I noticed when I clicked to begin the upload process, the manager wanted to upgrade my device as well. And I do believe, the manager itself. Now the desktop manager will not open all the way. I have un-installed and re-installed several times. It loads - but only acts as if it doesn't want to connect to my BB. BTW - my BB works fine.

Another odd thing is I right clicked on the program shortcut icon thinking maybe there is some sort of compatibility issue-but there shouldn't be because I haven't changed my pc OS....was and still is using Windows 7 before and after I had this issue arise yesterday? But when clicking for Windows 7 to find issues with program-it keeps asking me if I'm using a different OS than before - which I'm not...DUH

Jeez...all what I wrote seems like a mess and I'm not sure if the problem lies that the desktop manager upgraded my BB os rather than me doing it manually or if the problem is the manager itself. If it IS because the manager supposedly upgraded my BB, I can't even get the dang program to load in order to run my backup.

Anybody have any thoughts?
