I have been having problems for a while now where ring tones and media just stop working. I'll do a battery pull and it will work fine for a while, but then my phone will stop playing a ring tone/alert when I get a message or phone call. I also have intermittent problems where I'll get an error when I try to play a song or video.

I upgraded to 5.0.0.882 a couple days ago and it didn't fix the problem.

Any ideas?

If you added any Apps one may be causing your problem. You can try deleting them and see if it clears the problem. If it does then add one back and wait for a few days to see if it happens. Then do another and so on. It may also be one of the media adds( song etc. ) causing the problem. do a backup then delete them on the phone also. dont put them back until the Apps are tested.

I've the same problem I'm going to try what tsac said and see if that works if you figure it out please let me know
