I bought a sh blackberry 8900 2 weeks ago. I tried to install Blackberry app world directly on phone without using usb. I couldn't. Then i tried to connect my blackberry to computer and it is charging but the computer doesn t see it. I asked his first owner and he said that he connected blackberry on a sony vaio with bluetooth everytime. Can u help me connect bb to desktop ? I just want to install Facebook Whatsapp foursquare etc... Thank you ! I don't have a data plan or something like this.

You need a BB dataplan for Facebook, Whatsapp, BB App World and other apps as they all require a connecting to RIM servers.

Once you get the data plan, download BB Desktop Manager from the RIM website and install it on your PC. Then you should be able to connect to the BB, assuming that the BB isn't defective.

the bb isn't defective ! I had a 8820 and a 8310 and bb desktop manager saw this phones but it doesn't see 8900 is it about data plan ?

No. It won't matter. You need a BlackBerry Data Plan.
