only thing that looks different to me is the keyboard...but I don't own that model either. I wouldn't order it.

Of course I wouldn't either. I found it rather humorous

captthomason 12-29-2007 10:23 AM

Yes sir

TeritaM 12-29-2007 10:44 AM

looks like a slackberry slurve...

ndub33 12-29-2007 11:03 AM

The keyboard looks like it may be from a Motorola Q. This is looks like either an example of very clever photoshopping or someone Frankensteining case components together.

Lunk is this your BB?

John Clark 12-29-2007 05:19 PM

It's worth $5 to see what the heck it is.

LunkHead 12-29-2007 05:23 PM

I morphed a Sidekick with an iPhone, then morphed the iSKphone with a 8320 and this is what I got... Pretty kewl huh?

CBR900RR 12-29-2007 05:27 PM

Looks like get LEAD in the paint.

I am watching this in myebay if it goes cheap i may grab just so I can perform further analysis.

I think we can all agree this is NO BB

LunkHead 12-29-2007 06:16 PM

Yes it is!!! The seller says so!!!!

Ha now we know why you have been duped on ebay so much! You actually believe what the sellers tell you lunk tsk tsk

NCBuckeye 12-31-2007 09:02 AM

It's funny on 2 different posts, one post says this is the 9000 and people say it is awesome. The other says it is a fake and everyone says it sucks...lol.

here is a link>>> BlackBerry 9000 series spy shot revealed? - Engadget

I don't think this a 9000 series BlackBerry. My guess would more be like a CDMA Curve. Maybe wishful thinking. I use CDMA.

funny how public opinion differs based on the description.

IT does look like a Q/8800 mash up.
With of course the iphone-esque banding around the outside.

Interesting how it took a few days for the news sites to catch on. ez, faster than all of them.

No surprise there!

Very funny how crackberry, bgr and engadget all picked up on it.

Honestly does anyone even think it looks like the quality we come to expect from RIM. It looks half a:)_ed!

veks 01-01-2008 02:29 PM

it does look half as_, thats why im hoping its the 8900 rather than the 9000

There is no 8900. Perhaps it's the 9000. I honestly don't see that hunk-a-junk being the 3G-enabled BlackBerry devices, but what do I know.

NJBlackBerry 01-01-2008 09:39 PM

When it gets to 10000 I am selling.

BBHorrigan 01-02-2008 06:41 AM

holden 01-03-2008 08:53 PM

Listing is pulled off eBay...
Did someone actually try and sell this?? :?

The Jerk 02-02-2008 11:29 PM

iberry,WTF?

The Jerk 02-02-2008 11:34 PM

Now that I look at it.......the keys look like the motorola Qm from verizon.

Not a huge improvement if this is an upgrade.

John Clark 02-03-2008 07:14 AM

There were lots of other threads about this. It's the 9000 series BB.

ezrunner 02-03-2008 09:45 AM

yes but it was fun speculation for a bit.

and to find the pics on ebay was priceless

zabone 02-04-2008 07:52 PM

it looks like a 8800 keypad on a curve.. i like it but i dont like the shape of it.

Bryceness 02-08-2008 11:19 AM

My guess is that was RIM, testing the waters.

wabbit 02-18-2008 12:28 AM
