[quote]Whilst the model comes new, unlocked and with protective films as shown in pictures, given this is a pre-release model it is not supplied with Blackberry box, documentation or software (which can be downloaded online). Where in the world will you get the software online? Hmmmm.

There's not a desktop manager for it yet...

well if this is a legit device, it looks like it wont be a finger print magnet like the 8800 and 8100s... thank god...

Hey, someone has to be first with it, right?

I remember back when the 7250 codenamed 'Blueberry' was to be released. So much anticipation back then.

I dont think 800 bucks was too much considering its probably gonna retail for close to 600 without a contract(i never extend my contract, committment phobia)

if you got the extra cash and can purchase without giving up food or rent money go for it, hell if it comes back up i might give it serious consideration. My worries would be:

Will Tmo (or any carrier) have the service books available for the device

If i put it on BIS will the imei and pin number be allowed on RIMS server

Imagine how buggy OS 4.6 must be on that thing with no hope of an upgrade coming out until atleast the summer

it may be trivial, but can someone please tell me the size of the headphone jack? Did they make it "crappy" again with a 2.5mm? I just want to plug in some of my good headphones and use it as my music player. Then I could sell my ipod and zune to pay for half of my new phone.

It should be a 3.5mm jack, as that is what the most recent devices (Curves, 8110, 8120, 8130) are shipping with.
