Thumbs up BB 9000 hard specs announced - 04-30-2008, 11:48 AM
Over at the Boy Genius Report they have a new post up showing off the hard specs of the new BB 9000 series. The list is pretty impressive even though the camera is only 2MP. Still no release date. BGR does say "AT&T having a U.S. exclusive and being the first carrier to launch worldwide". AT&T will have it first worldwide and US exclusive. Thats pretty sweet.

* Radio - GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA
* Bands - Quad-band GPRS/EDGE: 800/850/1800/1900MHz
* HSDPA: 850/1900/2100MHz (praise the lord!)
* Expandable memory - microSD
* Display - HVGA Color LCD (480×320)
* TrackBall Navigation
* Camera - 2MP (Boo!)
* Wi-Fi - a,b,g
* A-GPS
* Battery - 1500mAh

Wow, the interface is great, and then: video within a page: FAIL.

Can you get those 1999 engineers off the UI team, please? :D

sounds promising
looks wise: not the hottest looking thing. But im expecting Bigger things from RIM before end of 2008.
