Default Question Abt Bold on Rogers Wifi,,, - 06-17-2008, 09:28 PM

I think I read on here that Rogers Bold's were coming with disabled WIFI ... is this true?

I have confirmed that the wifi will NOT be disabled for browsing...

yet wifi is disabled for all other BB's? Why is Rogers making thier services so device specific? There's no technical reason why the 8120 can't do wifi browsing on the Rogers network, but yet they allow it on the Bold?

To my knowledge, WiFi isn't disabled on any BlackBerry that has it built-in.
Are you saying the Rogers 8120 has crippled WiFi?

Are you sure you have it set up right on it? Like in your browser settings you have it set to wifi browser? You should have no issues at all getting onto the internet with wifi on the 8120

i have no idea why its so secretive... i havent heard anything else besides june 25th... i dont know where CB and BG are getting those dates... but the last and the only date i have seen/heard is june25th
