Guys, I'm press, in pretty good contact with RIM, on the list for the 9000, but won't get it until a couple of weeks after it gets blessed and released by AT&T; the one I get will have the AT&T logo on it & be in an AT&T box. That's pretty standard for the way their PR program works with reporters & reviewers.
So the stuff you're seeing on the buzz sites is show & tell with beta units, meaning their mileage ain't the real thing.
I talk to betas, too. It's incredible how much they scowl until the next rev hits, then how happy they are, then they scowl again, then there's another rev, etc.
Reminds me of an old joke:

If you really want it, set google to do a Google Alert that will automatically email you with this stuff as it happens. You will get 10-12 emails a day so you can read all the rumors.

It's enough work already to filter fact from fiction... it would drive me nuts to have it pushed to me.
