Guys, I'm press, in pretty good contact with RIM, on the list for the 9000, but won't get it until a couple of weeks after it gets blessed and released by AT&T; the one I get will have the AT&T logo on it & be in an AT&T box. That's pretty standard for the way their
PR program works with reporters & reviewers.
So the stuff you're seeing on the buzz sites is show & tell with beta units, meaning their mileage ain't the real thing.
I talk to betas, too. It's incredible how much they scowl until the next rev hits, then how happy they are, then they scowl again, then there's another rev, etc.
Reminds me of an old joke:
