That is from RIM's mouth. Looks like this site and others need to quit relying on Boy Genius for "reliable" news. No delays, never were any delays and August is the planned release date.

EDIT: Go to Betanews in that link and you get this quote:

For the comment on "Why bash BGR and listen to these blogs?", well to me Gizmodo and Betanews are news sites, and even if you consider them blogs, they actually got news from RIM, not just "from a source". To me in my opinion, if you can't quote your source, it is not news, but rumor. Just my opinion.

Well this is news, the other topic was ruined, and yes I helped ruin it, but still this is BIG NEWS. There was no delay in the BOLD and it is coming in August. Who cares who locked a thread, we got tangible news on the BOLD!

Its nothing to do with being taken seriously. Your original post is still there, you passed on your information. The discussion you started got out of hand, life goes on.

Its not what you say, its how you say it. And to the point of the post, people read BGR, Engadget and other blogs for rumor as well as confirmed news. They aren't always right, but enjoyable never the less.

Sarcasm is one thing, language is something different. The only thing that anyone was singled out for was language.

I'm not defeding sandmanfvr, but you can easily notice that he is a newbie (as far as I know) with 32 posts as of right now. penguin3107's first comment was not nice, if new comers are treated as such, why should they stick around?

The problem with forums is you cant read body language so you dont know whether or not someone is kidding being sarcastic or just plain rude.

I took the post by the OP in the first thread as a slap in the face to this forum and personally. He comes in saying we take BGR serious but then in the same post quotes other blogs as the gospel.

hope you leave and never come back. Many people work hard to keep this forum as great as it is. No need for your language here.

Has AT&T pulled a move and put the BOLD in August to get the iPhone more spotlight? I think it has. Anybody else think this?
