Thanks for all the info. I don't think you'll be able to find them in store unless you're very lucky, but you can place your orders on the phone. I just switched to Rogers and she was able to put the order through for me for the Bold. Chick sounded cute too, and a BB user ;) Although she claimed that the Bold was touchscreen which she lost points for :P

Yes the warehouses have stock but the stores won't till possibly this afternoon and for sure tomorrow.

Weren't you the one that had this great source saying it won't be released till Sept? Lol.

when i was in store the other day they said that they wont be able to order till thursday which means they wont have the devince in stock in store until the next week. whether this holds true or not i'm not sure... i dont know how the stores work with rogers as they are all dealers (and therefore have the right to order whatever they want, and not told what they can order)

I just placed my order over the phone, could have as early by Friday, $375.00

called a few stores today to 2 of them said they wernt able to order them untill today. others said they dont know when there comming .

Went to my local store today. They either didn't know, or wouldn't tell when they would get stock.

How did you manage to get such a low price. I called in today and I was quoted $724 and that's including HUP discount.

I checked 4 Rogers stores in downtown Toronto this afternoon and none would admit to having stock and two said, even if they did have stock that they would not release until the release date, Aug 21.
Wireless Wave in TD centre has been allocated 10 which were not in, but were expected Thurday or Friday. Realizes that 10 not adequate for expected demand.
I would expect that Rogers stores to have first stock with independents such as Wireless Wave to follow.
I would be surprised if any Rogers store will break rank and release early.

Also the non-commissioned people at Best Buy at Bay Dundas Toronto, were not aware that Rogers had anounced a release date and had no idea as to when they would get the Bolds.

Spoke to my rep and he has them coming in tomorrow. However they need to record and enter all the numbers therefore they won't release any untill end of day Thursday or sometime Friday for the business customers first.

Yep I spoke with 5 different Rogers stores today and it doesn't appear we will be able to get one tomorrow. I was told by all 5 stores either "Friday or Monday."

My local Rogers store has 30 coming in tomorrow and trust me when i say they better be giving me one as soon as they do.

I just called Rogers business phone...got a corporate discount of 300 dollars CDN...and i'm getting the BB BOLD for 299.99....AWESOME>>>> just keep calling and you'll get what you want.

Also looks like the no contract price is cheaper than expected. Its 599 on their site, not 649 or 699 that i was expecting.

Well I have hit the flag ship downtown, pvm and desjardin and NONE of them have it releasing today!!!

They say that the orders might come in today, but will have to wait til they shelf them, which might not be til friday or monday... what no one works weekends???

So tell me people, was this a fake release date, but really I am not to happy to keep tracking this anymore!! I want my bold!! NOW!!

i just waiting till 10 here in winnipeg then all stores open , got my list of numbers out and going to be dialing till i find.

Called this store and they won't be getting any in today. Indicated maybe Friday, if not Monday.

i dont understand how no one can have stock on the release date , it's just not right .

both of the stores near me in toronto both have nothing in stock when they opened and both said the same thing: they expect to get them today and will sell them as soon as they arrive.

Doesn't surprise me with Rogers. They really dropped the ball on this whole BOLD right from the start. B.S. that it's the release date but yet we can't get one today.

Yeah I know. My friend there said this mornings shipment didn't have them. Maybe just maybe they'll get another shipment in later today.

I've just called every rogers location in Kitchener/Waterloo and none of them received their stock. They are saying sometime next week.

I have been told now by two different sources that Rogers Head Office has not received stock yet from RIM, thus no stores will be getting them til next week sometime.
