I don't know who your sources are, but you need new ones - you're always way off with info. Some Rogers stores already received and sold them.

And which location are you referring to? many people on here are being told the same story, so if you're this certain, please list the locations.

NO stores have them in stock, they are able to order then yesterday and today... so therefore, they will have them in stock either friday or early next week... as for the call center, you can call and order at anytime and you will get it within 2-5 business days via UPS

well all i know is Rogers did NOT send any stores any product because they have to order it, because well its there choice on how much they want to order if at all. the store thats the charge for the Unit, then they sell it... its not like a corporate store where they are send product and arent billed for it...

i just got back from my local rogers stores again.. one two have TWO delivered at 11:40am this morning - already sold out.

The other store hasn't had their delivery yet - they are gonna call me when they come in. Its amazing how much service you can get if you tip someone $10.

If you're so confident in your sources, then the stores I mention won't make a difference to you - since it's not possible.

If you read other forums then you'll know that stores ARE receiving stock today. As posted by another in a different forum:

I gave up trying to find it in a store. Even the Rogers corporately owned store in downtown Toronto has no stock and I was told "maybe tomorrow". I have ordered it from Rogers over the phone, as I should have done yesterday. It will come sometime next week. I think I can survive a few more days.

Ivc,

I understand the quest for the latest gadgets. I'm browsing and posting too right? I just think that those who crave end up suffering more than they need to. Take a moment, or a day, or a week, and enjoy the experience of learning something new and breathe it all it. Everything in life is impermanent so try and appreciate it. Without delving into anyone's specific circumstances, I really can't imagine a situation where a purchase can't be pushed back a few days. Before you blink you'll have it, be bored with it, and wanting something new again.

People (myself included) rarely take the time to appreciate the present moment.

Ivan,

Ask yourself honestly- are you any happier with your latest technology than she is with the oldest?

No need to respond, just a thought provoking question for you ponder in a quiet moment.

May all beings be happy and at peace.

Well lets put it this way.... as I just had the most interesting conversation....

Her "Look, I want to get married, if you keep buying this "crap" then maybe we are not meant to be"

Me "Crap... its a Bold... the new BB"

Her "well I hope your happy with your new phone"

Me "I am sure I will be"

Her "Good bye"

I am going to miss her, but with the HSDPA and a nice screen, I will get over her fast.... ;)

oh, and first post.

In Vancouver, retail stores are not expecting them for a few days. Monday possibly. Best bet is online or over the phone. The best i could do on a consumer acct was $375.00. Thats with HUP and $50 rebate. Going to call again in a few mins.

Some other ppl on here have had problems, I dropped one call (out of around 20) and it was only when I was driving through some random part of town off the island of Montreal, so I don't know if that was related or if my friends iphone dropped.
Besides my squeaky trackball - it's great!

They have them in stock where I live, but they are selling it $399.99 *3Year*
Since my parent's are looking into the bold, I suggest adleast look up on the web on certain concerns about it(Like Dropped Calls).. Ahh now at the moment, I'm discussing with my Mom, about if you buy it unlocked and blah blah.. But I guess it's really up to them? Anyhoo! If they don't like it they can just give it to me and they can take my 8700r :D

Picked one up earlier today from Erin Mills Town Centre. They had received 8 units but were down to 2 when I got there.

Been playing around with my Bold for a couple of hours now. All I can say is WOW!

Going from screen-to-screen and scrolling through icons/menus is just so smooth. Haven't experienced any lag at all and everything loads up ultra quick.

The screen is just so sharp! Watched a couple of the pre-loaded vids and checked out some of the pics and all the colours are extremely vivid and crisp.

Taking a little getting used to with the keyboard. I'm used to having the keys spaced out like on my 8310 but it's no biggy.

Overall I just love the Bold and it was so worth waiting through all the delays!!!

Haha, mine squeaks too!!
From the cnn.cn page the trackball is the same as the 83xx and 88xx.

Everything else feels solid and well assembled.

My only other complaint so far is that it feels quire slippery when taking it out of the holster. I grip the divot for the headphone jack and the volume up button.

How much did it cost at Erin Mills?
Because I live in Milton and they are selling it for 399.99, and I don't know about Square one yet.. So yeah, I'm just trying to find the greatest deal for my parents.. >_>

I feel like a noob...

I can't get Blackberry maps to download any map data. It shows 0kB.

Google maps works fine as does the browser across wifi.
