Just got off the phone with Rogers who indicated "definitely not tomorrow" and "probably sometime in August." He said that Rogers will be doing a big marketing thing like they did for the Iphone and that has not even launched yet so will probably be some time before it gets released.

I guess ray ^^ might have photoshopped those photos of the Bold displays?

if you look again, those ray^^ pictures are from the tennis promotional thing not a retail store ... i think pokey is saying retail stores still don't have promotional stuff ready/onsite, etc.

Just spoke to my firm's contact at Rogers. Best he could do on the release date for the Bold is "first week in August".

More importantly, though, he told me that the $30/month data plan for 6GB would not be available for anyone on a BES, like me. This is going to come as a very unpleasant surprise for lots of corporate users.

A Rogers shop just gave me the heads up that they are expecting actual stock on August 5th.
