Default So wish I had a BB right now - Really needed one last weekend... - 07-07-2008, 02:51 PM

I had to share this story. I have been researching getting a smartphone (I have never owned one before and didn't even know what they could do) for the past month or so. I have set my mind on getting the Bold when it comes out because of all of it's features.

Well this past weekend I lost my father-in-law and had to travel to a city I hadn't been to in over 10 years and the first thing that happened was because the town had changed so much (a lot more development) we got slightly lost and I made a comment that if I had my BB, we wouldn't have gotten lost due to GPS.

Then while we were there there were several times that we wished we could look up something on the internet (no computer access at all while there) or have something to do to pass the time and my son and I kept saying, if we had the BB we could do that!!

How did we survive before all this technology

I hope this next month goes faster than the last month went and they announce the arrival of the Bold!!

It's funny how much I use my BB. I can't leave home without it.

Buy a curve to use until the Bold comes out, then sell it. You will probably only lose $50 or so doing that, maybe less if you find a good buyer.

Wish I could do that, but will just have to suffer through until the Bold comes out. That is a good idea though, I have a friend that has one and she loves it.

I have left home without my Blackberry and it is like driving down the highway and all of a sudden seeing you are not wearing your seatbelt!

I go back to get it!
