Just a quick update....my order of the charging pod is MIA. I am beginning to think they did not get these accessories in stock. I'll update when more info is available.

That doesn't suprise me, I was suprised when they said they had them in stock.

I was surprised to find a notification in my inbox this morning that the charging cradle I ordered back in July has SHIPPED.

Why is this of any interest you ask?

I had asked Expansys why they were not shipping sooner and they said that RIM had been miffed at them for releasing these accessories for sale in advance of the US release date for the handset. If RIM has authorized them to sell these cradles, then the Bold itself may not be too far behind.

Let's hope...
