3g?? this model will be 3g as we all know. what exactly is 3g in terms of CDMA?? i have a pearl on sprint's EVDO network. will this berry run in EVDO or EVDO revA? or what? and is EVDO Considered 3g?? or is "3g" strictly for gsm carriers? |
EVDO is 3g 3G - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |
ok thanks. i prob should have searched first. so evdo REV A is essentially 4th grn technology persay. thanks for pointing out my lack of searching lol |
i think Rev. A is like 3.5G. the 4G stuff i think would be WiMax for sprint and verizon will use LTE for 4G. The 3G announcement you here often are for the GSM (AT&T / Tmobile) networks getting 3G data. |
Suckers :P Rogers and Fido are already at 3.5G across canada :) :) |

"From what we, down here in the USA, hear about Rogers exhorbitantly priced data plans, Rogers is apparently very proudd of their 3.5G network" |
Wirelessly posted (8320 Curve) Yeah. I agree totally. YOUR 6GB plan costs MORE than OUR UNLIMITED plan. Ill keep my unlimited data and text for 40 with my calling included. Verdict: Woo Sero. Boo Canada. =P |
