Default Bold Keyboard

In looking at the pictures, it looks like the Bold keyboard is exactly like the 8800. Is this correct? I have had an 8800 for about 1 year and a half now. Though I have adjusted, i can't say that I am particularly happy with the keyboard. The Curve's seems much better. Hopefully, someone here can clarify.

Compared to the 8800, the keys on the Bold are larger and each key is smoother to the touch. The 8800 keys have a higher touch point.
