BG has posted an article about the Bold and Thunder being delayed once again.

Not good ... all these delays is a cause for concern.

Couldnt find the post on BG site except for this:

The biggest concern I have is the statement that the Thunder has leapfrogged the Bold in terms of priority for RIM.

I posted about this delay the other week. I, again, spoke with Rogers this morning, who advised that the phone will NOT be released July 25 and that the likely date now is the first week in September.

Oh well, now we wait till September. My 8300 with 4.5 is doing good and I want the Bold to be right!

like sith has been saying for a long time now, how can a non announced device (by carriers) release date be pushed back?

i dont know, i was talking to my contact yesterday and he didnt say anything... he said everything should be finalized on thursday for pricing and such, so i will check back with him tomorrow and see whats going on... but i havent heard anything from rogers on this... last i heard was that they got the last and final build for 4.6 the other week

seriously why do people get so upset about this? AT&T Bold Information BGR's Bold date being pushed back is exactly what I stated in my article about AT&T training. Last week of August, first week of September. He is dead on from what i heard about the Thunder, absolutely dead on.

They are not being delayed. There has been NO release information past "Summer" from RIM. If RIM knew when the devices were going to be released, they would have given a more accurate time. Thats like people saying the iPhone was delayed because it was launched on July 11, and not the same day as last year. It means NOTHING until a carrier/RIM points to a calendar and says "We launch then". If after that the date changes, THEN its delayed.

This is nothing more than the "whisper date" being re-guessed. Without a firm date from RIM, which there has not been, this is all guesswork and speculation by largely uninformed hypsters. And this hysteria is what results when people take them seriously.

This uninformed hypster (BG) is running a website that like ALL sites makes money according to the number of people who log on! I do not care what anyone says the site has hinted about some of these non-existant dates that keep passing and shares some of the blame.

Yes, because he is with Rogers himself and was dissapointed at the news. LOL.

hhmm, i think i'll wait until NEXT year to buy another blackberry... i'm going to Iraq in sept so, can't use the phone out there anyway... might as well just put a "hold" on my account with at&t and just pick back up next year...

i'd really like to have the Bold though :(
