In the past I used an 8703 as a modem on my laptop. Is that something that Bold will be able to do on the AT&T network? Or was that just something that Verizon did?

Oh and P.S. I do not have an insider that is telling me when the Bold is coming out. Sorry to disappoint you.

Carefull using your Blacberry as a modem on the AT&T network. Even if you have unlimited bb data, you WILL be hit with additional data charges!

yes you will be able to use the Bold as a modem on the AT&T network, however you will need to purchase a plan with tethering included. it's like $60 monthly however u get 5gb of data & unlimited messaging.
