Hey I talked to our att corporate rep and they said early September...not as specific as the 12th, but hey...it will come out they same time att releases 4.5 for other devices :p

I merely related what I was told on the phone by an AT&T rep this morning.

I never claimed to have top secret information.

Don't get mad, everyone is just having a little fun, we all want the Bold and AT&T knows it and so does RIM, but I would rather wait for it to be ready than put something out that will fall apart before it's even a week old.
This is mild compared to some of the posts I've read on other sites.
It will all work out in the end and we will all be happy, my two cents. For what its worth.

Another sign that Bold is near is the price of the Curve on the Premier AT&T site. Just noticed that price of the 8310 Curve is now $0.00 ($100.00-$100.00 Gift card). Last time I saw that price it was during initial lunch of the original 8300. I can smell it......

Okay...so my friend goes to get a new phone and intriqued on the BOLD...and that was here in the US...It hasn't even been released here so how would he know?? The sales rep proceeded to tell her that the bold would not have 3g?? WTH??

FWIW, HorizonWireless lists the AT&T Bold with a release date of September 12th on their website for $1000.

Not sure how I feel about this info, just thought I'd pass along.

I heard a rumor today of Sept 15th for AT&T.... who knows.

I heard that just today as well. I went to the AT&T store and spoke to a tech who seems to pay attention and has had some good knowledge in the past. He said it's battery issues that have caused the Bold launch to be pushed back (should have been out last week) and that they're looking at the 15th of September now. Still not written in stone, and he even warned me to take it with a grain of salt. He said he's dying to get one for himself too.

Someone I know that works at at&t told me that the expected release date is Sept 30th.

I heard January 42nd.

I heard the "Official" release date is Sept 32

BB Cool says September 12th. I'm going to bury my head in the sand until the UPS driver knocks on my door with my Bold.

So I was sitting here reading these posts, as I finished my tea I see leaves in the mug, and they say the date September 35th. This has to be the release day.

Acutally I just called AT&T in Des Peres, MO and was told "sometime in October"

For fun I called the authorized dealer in Sunset Hills, MO and was told "Uhh a Bold? They don't make those, the newest Blackberry is the 8130"

Here I am, still awaiting my Rogers Bold that I bought off eBay.
