Default Bold Tethering - EDGE Only?

Please Login to Remove!
Can someone confirm this? I had heard that even if tethering is on your plan the Bold modem is only able to use EDGE for data transfer when tethering?

I hope not...that would defeat a major reason for me wanting a 3G phone

Will test this now on T-Mobile Germany.

Edit: Tethering on 3G works.
