In Germany you can buy the Bold since 06.08.2008

I have one it's very nice but little too big and the browser leaves a lot to be desired.

my bro lives there... and he asked me if i wanted one, but it's qwertz, and it's not excatly my fav. lol. So ... no :-\. When Vodafone comes out with it here in Spain I'm going to buy one :D I'm still deciding whether or not to get the Bold or Javelin. They're both cool, but the pics I saw of the javelin aren't nearly as sexy. Lol.

What do you miss on the browser? From my point view it is only missing Flash, that's all.

Please Kompressi,

is it yours a QWERTZ or QWERTY keyboard ? (the former, I suppose).

I'll travel to Germany in the next weeks, and it seems - apart from immediate availability - to be without contract (a meager..) 10 euros cheaper than its counterpart here in Italy.

Anyway, it's still unclear if the TIM (hate !) branded one will be 469,00 WITH a contract !

In that case, I'd be patient to wait until a network free one will be available near me.

TIA

Pipppetto

I always play with my brothers laptop (since he usually screws it up), and since my name includes both Z & Y, it REALLY REALLY Bugs me! Instead of Z Kent Y. it shows up as Y Kent Z. lol. I imagine I'd go crazy with the phone, too.

How much is the "free" version in Italy (without a contract)? I imagine it wouldn't be much more. I'm going to see how much Vodafone will sell it for. Hopefully for less for companies (Crosses fingers).

Thank you all !

I only hope Vodafone will have it soon; even if I could take advantage of some number portability offer (every other day, Italian carriers have at least one or two), I'd better stay with them.

Wind seems to have a nice BB contract - in fact, no contract at all, only a monthly option you can activate on both pre-paid and contracts for a full-Monty unlimited flat BB services @ 12,00 euros/month !!.
This is valid on EVERY plan of your choice.

The only drawback: TIM and Vodafone offer nearly 100% area coverage, Wind not as good, and Wind is till now stuck with 8110 and Curve models.

;-((
