Does it have a 3.2mp camera? Or does that just come with the 2G version (I forget what that's called, sorry)?

But pictures from the Bold certainly look better than those from the Curve. If both were available today, I'd probably go for the Javelin due to size, battery life and better camera. But as it's actual release date is probably Decemberish, I don't think I'll be able to hold off on the Bold.

So the Javelin is the Bold with 2g instead of 3g, with a better camera, wifi/gps, just no 3g right? Which carrier is getting the Javelin?

Actually, the Javelin is a bit more different from the Bold than just that. It's smaller than the Bold, which mimics the size of the 8800. The keyboard is significantly different as well. The Javelin is supposed to be the successor to the Curve, a consumer-oriented device. The Bold is more enterprise/corporate oriented.

John Clark posted these pics in another thread:

The scuttlebutt is that T-Mobile will get the Javelin first while the Bold goes to AT&T.

AKIM - How long does your battery last on 3g? (can you also state your average usage, like: Number of emails, SMS's, BB Messenger? JiveTalk?). Would you PLEASE do this as well... Turn OFF 3g and see how long the battery will last. I mean, the bold has a larger battery, if it's in EDGE then it should consume A LOT less. Can you please try this? Thanks .

ohhh you're sooo coool! So wait, we're boyfriends? .... :( I didn't know... Were we supposed to have dinner tonight :-\ I forgot :( ... Well, It's 8:32 AM here in Madrid, so em... Tonight? White Roses? Red? I Forgot :'( Don't hate me!

That's great news about the BB Bold getting through the day Thanks a bunch! That's the deal breaker for me to get the bold. 1500 MAH and turning off 3g should save a BUNCH of battery. hehe, also the ability to turn it on and USE 3g! Not to mention that the bold is going to come out WAY before the Javelin hehe... How's the keyboard? I had the first production of the 8800 series and I didn't like it.... but from what I've read they changed the design in the newer models, and it was good. But Now the Bold has a GREAT keyboard. hehe. I'm excited!
