Hey everyone, just for curiousity I'd like to know how much free memory you have from your 128 MB for apps, SMS, calendar, etc, on your 9000 Bold. Thanks

Also, jot down what apps you're using if you want.

I have a 5MB MP3 as a ringtone though, would that affect it (I guess it may pre-load it for speed so it can play the second a call comes in)?

Just rebooted and now showing as 22MB, weird.

i have only 24.6 mb free with Viigo and msn

surprised with 128 mb there isnt more free space then that

well i'm sure the OS layout (java files) is the same, so i'm sure you can go into the java folder and delete all the voice activated dailing and preload media and such to free more memory... HOWEVER dont forget the media i'm sure is on the 1 gb of flash onboard, and not the 128... so the OS must take ALOT of space then... wierd... until i start to play around with one and see all the java and .cod files i couldnt tell you

Shocked about the "Lack of free memory" .... Where the h*ll did the rest of the 128Mb go ?
Has anyone tried maximising free memory i.e. getting rid of stuff you dont really need) ?

I have MaxMem but am too scared to run it. It was written for OS 4.5 I think. Hopefully there will be a version that will run on 4.6.

Yes it works but it's within 1700 meters and isn't as accurate as Blackberry maps which is dead on.
