This one is for Bold owners...

Have you ever run a legacy software before? Any software that was designed to run on 8800/8700/8300, at 320x240 resolutions. If so, how did they run? Does it run shrunk? Does it stretch out? Does it even run at all?

If it does run and some of it will, it will run VERY fast!

Some run, some don't run. It depends.

I think that if the software your trying to install doesnxxx8217;t check for the model # of the phone, then it will run fine, since its a new phone, you might not be able to even install some of the programs since Bold wonxxx8217;t be on the "compatible" list

I'm more concerned with the screen res. If the app is written at 320x240 for the Curve, just wondering how it will show on a 480x320 screeen. Stretch, shrink, etc..

Most of the application seem to adjust to the higher screen resolution, just in some cases the font size doesn't scale and is very, very small.

I just installed the curve's version of Pub Checkers. Made a few moves, got an "app error", and now I can't boot back into the OS
