This does work on the Bold but I've just tried it on my old 8800 though and it doesn't do anything other than ask me to assign a new speed dial to the Q key. So I guess it's new!

Pretty useful tip, thanks

on the 8800 and 8300 series, pressing the letter F brings up the profile option.

On the home screen, you can also scroll up to the speaker icon and change the profiles there. "F" does the same thing but the scroll up is new to me.

But can we change this? I like to have my old shortcut back for A and Q. Can I move them to another key or simply delete them? I don't see how...
