Default Orange UK Bold order

Hi, thanks for your help...

Yesterday afternoon (around 3 pm) I ordered a new Pay Monthly contract (12 months) for 38 pm and with the Bold for free.

After I finished to input all my details, I was advised that I would have been shortly contacted by the sales team via email.

This morning, since I still hadn't received anything, I called Orange asking what was happening and the operator told me that the Sales Team would have opened at 9 annd that they would have contacted me shortly.

Again, I waited until 30 minutes ago and I called them again. Now they told me that the order went through. But since then I haven't received any confirmation of this via email.

Is all this normal???

My guess is that demand is quite high and they need to credit check you etc before they ship the device - maybe call them back later this afternoon to ask them when you can expect it. If it's anything like mine I got a text telling me it had been dispatched and another one when the courier loaded it onto a van, but mine was an upgrade so I can't say whether that would happen on a new order or not.
