Default Bold on wifi only, bes msg's and PINs work.

Please Login to Remove!

So Bold on our Bes, with ATT. Turn off radio and turn on wifi and PINs go through?... thought needed UMA for this?

Works on Orange UK too this - if both mobile network and wifi are turned on, it seems to pick wifi as a preference for both BES and BIS too.

UMA is for voice.

BES and BIS is data, achieved using a secure tunnel from the device to the blackberry servers over your WiFi connection...

Mark is correct... but just for further clarification, you still do need BlackBerry Data Plan to achieve this. WiFi alone will not allow for PIN messaging and/or any type of BlackBerry email via BIS or BES.

.... you know... I knew that... thanks.
I wish if it see's you are on wifi then it would auto switch your 3G to gsm to save batt. Or at least have options for those kind of settings in the profile.
