I have a question:

I notice that sometimes the little transmit/receive icons in the upper right hand corner are different. Some times they are just little black arrows and then sometimes they are white arrows inside a black square.

I am connected via wifi as well.

Also, is there more info on the specifics of how the WiFi works? I would like to understand things like routing, is there any difference from a wifi perspective as it relates to BIS or BES connections?

Using wifi isn't really that different. It just uses your wifi connection to make it's connection to the RIM data center. It's considerably faster than EDGE. Read info about the other wifi BB's as I'm sure it's pretty much the same.

I don't have the Bold but I've seen the small arrows on the Curve. It almost acts as if it's trying to connect but can't.
