This Bold is my first BB but I remember a carphone whorehouse salesman showing off how his BB's trackball changed colour depending on what day/application/hair wax he was on that day.

Can this be done with the bold? I'm an instant convert to the rollerball and if it could change colours for me I'd feel like Merlin.

The only device that had the colored led's under the trackball was the 8100. RIM stopped putting those in. Someone will need to look and see if they added them back in the Bold. I'm doubtful, though.

I checked, the BlackBerry Bold doesn't offer different LED lighting for the trackball.
