Hello...

I was discussing the 9000 with another engineer from a sister company and he is indicating that there might be some weight to the battery issue some users are experiencing. He said he has information (I know, it sounds like more arm chair quarterbacking) that At&t is working through this battery issue that is affecting the 3g and 2g switching. The 9000 is spending so much time switching between 3g and 2g it is affecting the battery performance. This would also possibly involve the sim card as well since this possibly would involve how the sim is working in different environments. I would imagine your mileage would vary depending on where you work and travel if the phone is switching between 3g and 2g.

Even all this is old news again as there are many threads involving this battery issue that have already been posted... I guess I am looking for a glimmer of light at the end of this long roadmap going to Bold.

So, maby At&t is trying to get it right... In some ways you can not blame them. If this was a project at work and I missed my milestone, I guess I would need to regroup and fix the problem. Or deliver an inferior product. If the issue entails any of the above, this sounds like a rather large problem...
