What doesn't make sense to me, is that I understand that the US is a large market for RIM, but if the potential for 3G related issues is the reason for the delay, then why release in other countries? You would assume that you would run the same risk of consumer backlash wherever you choose to release. Or, are these issues specific to ATT 3G network?

The article may not be accurate, and/or the problems may be more phone than network related.

It's also my impression that Europe and Asia are much farther along with their 3G networks than the US. But, we do have other 3G phones here that work fine, I believe.

Can't let go of my 8700g, to find out.

Hope RIM works it out. The Bold seems like an 8700 with great media and some other features I would like on my 8700. I.E. voice dialing.
