| Where are the Bold Accessories? Please Login to Remove! I know it has not been introduced in the USA yet but there are few site selling the Bold accessories yet. Looks like there will be a decent charging cradle by looking at the two contacts on the bottom of the Bold.
Anyone find any places that really have some stock? | | Offline

| here in canada rogers bold came with a blackberry case which clips to your belt and swivels.I am scared of the case as I prefer the phone lying across my belt and the case closes with just the magnet seems quite flimsy . I will be watching very close on that one,do not want my bold free falling . | | Offline

| I'd wait for the seidio stuff. I've found it to be better quality than the OEM stuff and the current charging cradle I have for the 83xx devices is great. I def need a couple this time for the bold since it has bedside mode | | Offline

| I second the Seidio stuff ( http://www.seidioonline.com). They have the Bold listed now as coming soon. I'll be getting their rubberized holster, something I get from them for every phone I have ever had. Love it and won't have anything but it.
I'll also be getting the RIM cradle whenever it's available.

I am not crazy about the new RIM OEM holsters with swivel clip. | | Offline

| Is the case with swivel clip any different to the one that comes with the 8800? The case that I got with my 8800 is very good.

I am not crazy about the new RIM OEM holsters with swivel clip. | Yep... I tried various hard and soft cases for the phones I have had, but I always end up with the Seidio rubberized holster and no case for the phone. That way, I can wear the phone on my belt, it stays close to my body and doesn't hang out in the air like some of the "puffy" leather cases, it doesn't collect dust and lint like the silicone cases, AND I can easily drop the phone into a charging stand at night. No fuss, no muss. The only other thing I add is a screen protector (not the full body protector).
Here is a link to Seidio's holster similar to what should be available for the Bold, if you aren't familiar: http://www.seidioonline.com/ProductD...ode=HLBB8330AS

| I liked and used the 8800 case as I have always used the RIM holsters with swivel clip.
The Bold OEM holster is a little different and is not like the 8800 case. The case it's self is kinda squared with a wider magnetic flap/closure. I guess it is OK, it is doing the job and leave plenty of the device exposed to grab onto when removing. It is just different, kinda like it was made by another mfg.
Another few weeks with it . . . maybe it will grow on me. | | Offline

They kinda remind me of the old 75xx Rim plastic clip/holsters and would not be considered. I guess it is old habit but I prefer my device to slip into the case for protection and not depend on a spring clip to prevent gravity from pulling my device to the ground. | | Offline

Here is a link to Seidio's holster similar to what should be available for the Bold, if you aren't familiar: http://www.seidioonline.com/ProductD...ode=HLBB8330AS | I have this holster. Ordered it through Blackberrysource but when it arrived, it was in a Seidio plastic bag. On the BBSource site it lists it as working for the both the 8800 & the Bold.
It works great & I agree about the leather swivels - too bulky. I ordered 2 & customized my car windshield kit. I removed the magnet & I can turn the Bold around & see who's calling / emails.
I have only ever used these types - never a sleeve or leather pouch. Never had any problems with drops or falling out.
So far, so good.

Gravity won't pull the device from this holster as Seidio has designed this one with a spring clip that wraps over the top of the device. No way it is coming out without the user pushing the clip up and out of the way.
I do understand your concern, but I don't think it's warranted with this product. But, at the same time, I recognize that this holster isn't what everyone is looking for.

| I hate the new holster for the 9000. It's huge. I use my old curve leather holster from rim. A little tight, but it fits on my belt no problem.. | | Offline
