Default BOLD NOT on T-Mobile (UK)

Please Login to Remove!

Went to the local T-Mobile branch today to ask about the BOLD. They confirmed to me with an email that they had received on Saturday (30th Aug) that the BOLD has been pulled i.e. T-Mobile UK aren't bothering with it as it's now had 4 attempts to get the software right and each time it comes back not compatible.

Therefore I might go and get the E71 which is coming on T-Mobile UK

I was told in store yesterday that the stores were not getting it. When I phoned T-Mobile direct last night they are saying it is due in october.

Called T-Mobile again this morning about something else but enquired about the Bold. The guy I spoke to had an update this morning saying its due in a couple of weeks as it had been delayed due to qulaity issues. He also put me on a waiting list.

T-Mobile Germany has the Bold since August 4 and there are no major problems, so I wonder where the source of the "quality problems" really is.

Ive a unlocked bold and was trying it out on my T-mobile sim yesterday the issues i found compared to my orange sim where:
1: gprs when web browsing
2: poor browser support replaces default browsers with wap browser.

call quality not as clear as on orange.
