Default Switching to Bold (Desktop Manager)

Please Login to Remove!

Hi my bold arrives tomorrow. I currently have a 8800 which was my first blackberry. I know that through the Desktop manager you can use the facility to transfer everything from one berry to another. My question is do I use my existing manager to do that or the new one that comes with the bold bearing in mind that they are different operating systems. Sorry if this has been covered. I tried the FAQ's but couldn't see anything. If someone could give me the procedure I would be really grateful.

I was in the same thing as you I just loaded the new version of the desktop manager that came on cd in the bold box and the transfer went very well.

I suggest you use the new one, plus it looks nicer

Cheers Jbutcher
One other thing. I have stuff like lexspell which I believe I don't need with the bold. Should I uninstall unwanted programs from the 8800 before the transfer?
