...or did they reuse an existing one?

I've got spare C-M2 and C-X2 batteries and was hoping to maybe reuse them.

yeah completely new battery - i have not seen any form factor similarity between this one and the ones used before. this one is slimmer but bigger. maybe the iphone has a similar battery but wait....you cannot see it. LOL.
