I want the wallpaper that comes with the default theme? Anybody know what it is called and where I can find it?

Also, where can I find the wallpaper in all of the RIM Blackberry.com page and you go to Bold, its the nighttime skyline view. I can't seem to find that anywhere as well.

Here are a couple of UNC walls that I put together quickly. I wasn't sure how particular you were about the image being covered by the banner/bottom row of icons, so I made two sets for the logo wallpapers. Enjoy!

This is a major frustration for me in general. There are SO many great images, and the Bold screen displays them all amazingly well, but when you set any of them as Home Screen the effect is totally ruined.

Any suggestions, or do we all just have to live with it? Thanks!

Get a theme with no icons on the home page. There are probably some in the Multimedia forum.

I would say either follow Rambo47's suggestion, or if you have/know somebody that has decent image editting software (something around the caliber of PhotoShop) you can try to tweak the image to leave some room at the top and bottom of the wallpaper as I did while keeping the main portion of the pic towards the center of the screen.

The ones I did above were quick and easy because the backgrounds were solid colors. I suppose you could kind of letterbox the image if it's not as simple, and give the portions of the screen where the banner/app icons reside on the screen a black background. That, or find someone that studied graphic design to really hook it up! LOL

thanks for the tar heels home screens. I will also check out media section to find icons that are invisible. I just switched to the bold from windows mobile and this is taking me some getting used to.

Do you know where to get this wallpaper without the watermark?? It's a great wallpaper for the Bold.. but wish I could get rid of the watermark...

This is why most of the ones I create have a black "header/footer". The image is smaller but at least you get the full effect.

Just installed this update and when I went to restore my 3rd party apps, I click on the .alx file, it scans it then says "no additional applications for this device were found". Anyone else encounter this or have any ideas?
