Well, I couldn't wait any longer. I purchased a Curve to hold me over (to replace my 8800). The store will allow me to exchange the Curve for the Bold when it comes out. If it does not come out within 30 days, then I can exchange it for something else. I can keep doing this until the Bold gets release. This is some new promotion that they are running. You can only do this if you purchase a device at full price. For now, I am satisfied playing with my "new" toy.

Dang... I just did the same thing! The Curve I just got a few hours ago is working great (as expected), but I dare not tell it that it will be replaced soon... it might stop working in protest!
