Turns out my problem wasn't in the calendar after all. I found that if I did a selective backup and did not include "Location Based Services" it backed up fine. My BB Admin called RIM and he said the device had to be wiped. After the wipe and restore I did a backup and it ran fine. But once I used the GPS, I was back to the same problem. I am thinking it's a problem in 220.127.116.11. I'll deal with with it until I feel like upgrading to a newer version.
