Please help! can anyone please advise?

I spoke with fido customer care and told them i wanted to cancel my data plan (1gb) that i just got activated 2 days prior (not knowing it would not work with BB) because they don't have a bb connection.


I got the BB Bold (unlocked) as a gift and was just planning on using it for emailing and browsing... When i told them i wanted to cancel and just switch to Rogers they all of sudden said it can work? They then gave me an APN code/ IP add/ WAP user & pw/ DNF (primary and secondary). Does anyone know if that would work?

It should work if they put the right apn on the account all you really need is the blackberry apn

not sure if fido has the blackberry apn

you also need to be registered to RIM. if they give you the apn it is only half the battle.

if you get the blackberry apn and do an host routing table should regs

if not call rogers tech support (they do support for fido) and get them to register it
