How do I download AT&T service books onto my unlocked Rogers BOLD?

yes. service books are pushed automatically from the carrier. you have a BB data plan?

Then you should be good to go. go to the downloads folder. see a bunch of useless crap there? MusicID, mediaMall, shop music, etc? those are the service book based apps being pushed. also just go into options > advanced > service books and view them there

While in theory you would be fine, I noticed that when I called ATT and updated my IMEI with them, the UMTS access option appeared with my account and I have experienced a more stable service then when they had my 8320 IMEI. Maybe coincedence...who knows. My service now shows BlackBerry 9000 with ATT.

What is the "UMTS access option"? Are you referring to a service book entry?

And when you say your service shows Blackberry 9000, are you referring to the online account page where it shows what device you have?

It is something that the ATT reps add to your service (on their side). It is basically a feature code that I did not have with the 8320.

Yes, when I gave ATT my IMEI it said it was a BlackBerry 9000 UMTS device.
