i've just shifted from nokia E71 to bb bold,i got it unlocked in india coz it is not launched yet here, the major issue iam facing is that the email setting icon is missing in the setup option and when i go in setting wizard it only shows enterprise email activation,i searched out whole blackberry website for it but then still did not find any solution and even my software seems to be buggy so if i upgrade my firmfare then will my handheld will get locked as in iphone or will remain unlock please help me.

Once the phone is unlocked, it is always unlocked. Is the icon just hidden?? Go to your icon screen and hit menu, show all. See if it is there.

No, once the phone's unlocked it will remain unlocked. Just upgrade to newest .162. May be worth while. All the best.
