You could be right about that. I was at that launch event as well and seem to recall that we actually got the 8700 devices after they were released to the general public (however it may have been at the same time). Bummer since the SF launch attendees got their Bolds the night of the event.

Thanks for the update Tazman. That's great news and I guess consistent with RIM and AT&T's promise that attendees will be "one of the first in the nation to receive the....Bold" prior to the wide release on 11/4.

When I called up the Bold Event Planning number, the lady said they are being shipped out today and at best will be delivered tomorrow.

Called again and the rep states that they will be shipped out today. What happened 2 days ago  ?
I just asked for the tracking number and the carrier...She took my info and will call me back....

GOT IT!
My admin just dropped it on my desk. Haven't yet cracked the box but it's the AT&T retail packaging. No special packaging like launch parties of year's past.
Anyone else get theirs yet?
