Hi everyone, hoping you can help me with a question. I have a Bold, need to buy a second one for a family member, preferably without a contract. I know that the contract price for AT&T in the US is $299, but does any one know what the unlocked price is likely to be?

I just saw that PureMobile.com is offering the unlocked Bold for $667 plus S&H which is almost the same price as buying it unlocked from Rogers in Canada ($649 plus S&H, unless they've lowered the prices since I bought mine). Was just wondering if AT&T might offer it cheaper.

I did ask the AT&T reps on the help line but they had no clue. Since people on these fora are usually much more plugged in, I thought I'd ask. Thanks!
