| I second 328iGuy's suggestion of the Jawbone. I swear by it nowadays. I used to use a Motorola H700 bluetooth years ago when it was the best of the best. Then Jawbone stepped it up with the New Jawbone. It retails aroudn $140 CDN. Worth every penny. I'd get one now if I had osmeone to talk to for more than 30 seconds at a time... lol. | | Offline

| i use the Jawbone 1 with my bold and think it's great. however, anyone use the Jawbone 2 and feel that it's better/same? reviews seem to suggest that the newer one is worse than the original. | | Offline

| The Jawbone 2 is very nice. I was using that one till I got the Jabra BT530. I really like this one alot. I've had no complaints at all from people I talk to and it's very comfortable.
I've reviewed both of these and a couple others on my website. | | Offline

| For what it's worth, I have a Jawbone 2 that I am giving up on because I just can't get the fit right. Keeps falling out of my ear after about 10 minutes. After reading Sparkomatic's Jabra BT530 review, and then checking it out on the Jabra website, as well as some other reviews, I am pretty excited about that headset. I ordered one today. I may have a nearly unused Jawbone 2 for sale shortly

| I have a collection of headsets and they all work fine with .167. I had bluetooth problems with .162.
Current favorites are Jabra BT530 and Moto S9 (both A2DP). Also have Samsung WEP200, Moto H700 and Jabra 5050 which work well. My Jawbone works but is never used. I don't like it much. | | Offline

| I also use a Jawbone 1 and that's great.
on my N82, I've been able to listen to music through the Jawbone, but haven't tried it on the Bold yet.

I am on .162 and use a iTech Clip-D Radio (stereo bt) and find that it keeps disconnecting. I wonder if you had the same issues. I have refrained from upgrading to .167 due to some other negative feedback but if it solves my BT issue, i may consider upgrading.
Thanks. | | Offline

| I have a Jabra BT800, a Jawbone and a Plantronics Discovery 925, (I dont do music at all) I use the Plantronics exclusivly now, the BT800 was a good headset but the fit and lack of weight makes the plantronics my favorite, the Jawbone worked well but redefined ugly in my eyes and seemed a bit heavy, pretty subjective subject I guess, there all good headsets, the biggest problem is that I persist on getting in the shower with the damn thing in my ear, That gets expensive. | | Offline

Thanks. | I had some complete disconnects but mostly crackling and weak signal. And it was only with A2DP (stereo) headsets. There is a huge improvement with 167. No disconnects at all and no crackling. | | Offline

| Do remote controls on A2DP stereo bluetooth headsets work to control the music eg next track, previous, stop/start, pause etc

| I don't have the Bold yet, currently using the 8820. However, I have had my share of bluetooth headsets. I pretty much gave up on bluetooth and mostly use a wired headset, the ety-com in the car, and a plantronics with the inline mic on the street. I also have a collection of bluetooth headsets, all of them unusable on the street, wind and NYC street noise kills them.
Last week I tried the new Motorola H15 based on a review where they used it in Grand Central. It is a small, folding boom headset. It sounds great, exceeding my expectations. No one will mistake me for being in a quite office while I'm in Times Square, but it is very usable with incoming and outgoing sound quality good. This is really a home run and, although I haven't been able to really check it's wind resistance, I'm very happy with it.
