Hello, I just got my new bold today and i think everything is working from my 8800 except i have one issue with text messaging/sms messaging. If i send a message the person i am sending it to gets it instantly like they should. If they respond it takes 3-7 min usually until i get it or longer sometimes and it is not just one or two people i have tried 10 people and its all the same issue.If i send a message to myself though i get it instantly and i can send and receive instantly. Also when i do that i usually get the messages that i haven't received shortly after that. emails and pin messages work fine just text messages or sms I have tried resetting and contacted att chat support and no results any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Weird problem.

But try update the firmware. That should fix any 'problems' you might have.

I assume that your sim and the sms worked fine in your other BB?

If you are on 3G maybe try 2G for a day and see if it is different.

Definately upgrade the firmware to either xx.162 or xx.167. They are both very stable updates.
