Default AT&T v BestBuy

Please Login to Remove!

Assuming no difference in price, any drawbacks to buying the Bold at one vs. the other?

Nope. Price is the big deal. Both will have the same ATT one year warranty, etc.

If you pick it up at Best Buy, would you be able to do an exchange at an AT&T store? Pr do you have to go to Best Buy? What about for support issues. We have two (2) AT&T retail stores here in Santa Barbara, but the closest Best Buy is 40 minutes away in Oxnard.

Yes, you can exchange it at the ATT store; and Yes, ATT will support it.

There is NO difference, Best Buy is just an authorized re-seller.

Of course, heading south from SB to Oxnard on Rte 101 is a beautiful drive, so you might just choose to go to the Best Buy AND spend more money

You will NOT be able to exchage it at an AT&T COR store if you purchased it through BB. You have to go back to Best Buy to exchange it and if it's over 30 days it's done through XBM (Exchange by mail).

Only phones purchased through the COR store or through AT&T online sales can be exchanged in store.
